Circuit Breaker

The receptacles, light fixtures, appliances and switches in your home are all part of multiple electrical circuits, which begin and end in your breaker box. A terminal is the component used to electrically connect the circuit breaker to the circuit it’s protecting. For example: a wire, with or without a connector at its end, can be attached to the circuit breaker through the terminal.
