ProPEX Expansion Tool Kit
IWS-1960D manual PEX-A expansion tool is used in conjunction with 3/4” expansion head, expansion sleeves, PEX-A expansion fittings and tubing.
PEX-A Tubing Expansion
ASTM F1960 specification covers cold expansion fittings and cross-linked (PEX) reinforcing rings for use with PEX-a tubing. For use in residential and commercial, hot and cold, potable water distribution systems as well as sealed central heating, including under-floor-heating systems.
PEX Expansion Fitting & Rings
PEX expansion rings are for use installing PEX-a tubing with ASTM F1960 Expansion PEX fittings. Uponor Wirsbo ProPEX, Sioux Chief PowerPEX are most commonly used PEX-a tubings and fittings in the market.

IWS-1960D expansion tool features an auto-rotating head providing even expansions for the most consistent installations. 30 degree rotation per expansion triggered by expander tool’s ratcheting mechanism.
Faster PEX Expansion
Cut tubing squarely.
Slide the expansion ring over end of tubing.
Squeeze handles for several times, expansion head will rotate automatically.
After the final expansion, immediately remove tool and insert in fitting.
